At LeadHER Up, our mission is to inspire strength, connection, and confidence in every student navigating the ups and downs of friendships and peer relationships. Born from our own personal experiences and the desire to make sure no one feels alone, we’re building a safe space where students can speak freely, heal, and grow together. We’re starting right here at Modesto High School, reaching across the Modesto City Schools District, and dreaming big—because we believe this kind of support should exist in schools all over the country. Through honest conversations, empowering seminars, and a future mentorship program, we are leading a movement that helps students find their voice, build meaningful connections, and face social challenges with courage and compassion. We created this organization because we’ve experienced firsthand how painful it can be when girls tear each other down — through bullying, exclusion, and silent competition that damages self-esteem. We know what it feels like to question your worth because of someone else’s words or actions, and we believe it’s time for that to change.

This organization was born from our own experiences and a deep desire to make a difference. Our goal is to create a space where girls support each other, build genuine friendships, and learn how to navigate conflict in healthy, respectful ways. We want to teach the next generation that confidence isn’t about comparison — it’s about connection, kindness, and courage.
